PROJECT BACKGROUND

The project is about the visionary future of the high end coach brand. According to the vision, Setra would be a travelling service brand beside building luxury coaches. The unique service from Setra would be to make exiting round trips around Europe on land and water.
The passengers would transfer from the coaches to sailboats. The whole fleet would be driven by clean technologies, like wind and solar power and advanced electric power. As a challenge I choose to design a flagship yacht for Setra’s visionary fleet.

The yacht has to accommodate people in a safe, comfortable and luxurious way and it has to use the most efficient technologies. The Setra Evocean is an emission free trimaran , which using wingsails, solar cells and advanced hydrogen power for propulsion.
As a flagship the from, should show a unique design, clean and elegant appearance.

FORM LANGUAGE

Classic elegance and progressive technologies.
It was a main point to keep the elegance of the monohull boats and show the stability and reliability of the mutihull ships. The design was inspired by the modern organic architecture and the wildlife of the seas
and oceans.
